Chocolate Fudge Recipe

This is a special chocolate fudge recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation in our family. You need to follow the directions precisely for your fudge to turn out correctly.

Ingredients:
4 cups granulated sugar
1 cup cream
1 cup water
1⁄2 cup butter
1⁄2 cake baker's chocolate

Directions:
Mix ingredients together in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Over medium heat, cook until it just holds together and pour into pans not buttered. When cool enough to bear finger, stir it until it no longer runs; should not grain but be smooth. Cut into squares.
